Segger J-Link EDU available in our store is a JTAG/SWD Emulator with USB interface intended for educational use. The offer includes a license for Flash Breakpoints with only one limitation – namely that it is used for educational purpose and not to develop a product for sale. The device supports ARM7/9/11, Cortex-A5/A8, Cortex-M0/M1/M3/M4 and Cortex-R4 CPUs. It also features automatic core recognition and supports direct download into flash memory of most popular microcontrollers. The Flash Breakpoints option allows you to set as many breakpoints as you like within a device’s internal flash memory regardless of the number of hardware breakpoints available on the platform you use. The J-Link EDU is supported by all major IDEs: IAR EWARM, KEIL µVision, Rowley Crossworks, CodeSourcery G++, and – via GDB-Server – also Atollic TrueStudio, Yagarto, and other GDB based or compatible development environments.
Segger published a film demonstrating the use of Flash breakpoints.
